The jar is crafted from handmade terracotta, keeping the traditional red earth color, completely unglazed to retain the natural texture of the material. Tall vase shape, large round body in the middle, small neck and two symmetrical straps The shape is a single, slightly curved body – typical of ancient water or wine containers in Mediterranean, East Asian and ancient Chinese cultures.

The surface has scratches, fire dots and a light burning effect that are completely natural from the firing process, adding to the value of an “artistic antique”.
